Made for the reliable production of durable and secure credentials, the Fargo DTC1500 uses Fargo’s low-cost, high-capacity print ribbons. Enjoy an average production cost-per-card that is lower than that of competing dual-sided printers without sacrificing print quality or speed. The DTC1500 performs at 300 DPI (industry standard) and has an output of 150 dual-sided cards per hour and 100-card capacity hoppers.
Flexible design supports post-purchase field upgrades
The DTC1500 51405 dual-sided printer is scalable and accepts Fargo’s user-installable field upgrades, which include a single-sided lamination module and various encoding modules. Built-in printer pooling capability with Ethernet and USB
Standard with both USB and Ethernet, the DTC1500 51405 card printer can be accessed remotely by multiple computers across a local area network (LAN). Plus, it’s compatible with Fargo’s DTC Wi-Fi Accessory (sold separately), so you can easily add wireless connectivity to your printer at any time.
Theft-proof security features and printing capabilities
Armed with password-protected printer operation, AES data encryption, and Fargo’s own resin scramble feature, the DTC1500 card printer helps ensure that your card printing program runs safely and smoothly without unauthorized use or data theft. Resin scramble obscures “K” panel text by shifting the panel between print passes.
You can also use the dual-sided DTC1500 printer to add a custom transparent watermark design to your cards at no additional production cost. No need to invest in additional equipment, foil cards, or supplies – Fargo’s watermark feature uses the overlay or “O” panel of a standard YMCKO ribbon.
